Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day celebrations here at the Vicarage were celebrated in true style. We started off with our Valentine’s Day craft class where we were sorting single roses into cellophane wraps for our residents to give to their loved ones. The residents were engaged in meaningful conversations, a lot of laughter and smiles with memories of their own Valentine surprises. On the day itself we were presented with a fabulous Valentine’s Day themed lunch. A beautiful meal was prepared and served to our residents and their visiting loved ones where they were able to exchange flowers and gifts amongst each other. Our desert was semolina with puréed fruit poured in heart shapes on top. There was some romantic tunes flowing in the background and it was a special and romantic day, there was “much love in the air.”
