Summer 2015
We have caught a glimpse of some lovely summer sunshine and now our thoughts turn to long lazy days and warm fragrant evenings when we can sit out and relax.
Our fabulous celebrations with the Care Home Open day and the Armed Forces day have kept us busy. We move into the holiday season and look forward to some hot summer sunshine and lovely fresh open air activities.
July: Henley Regatta, Hampton Court flower show, the German Grand Prix, BBC Proms, The Ashes from Lords, Wimbledon, Silverstone and Glorious Goodwood, Oriel Summer fete and many of our birthday celebrations this month.
August: The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, fabulous Cowes week, the Ashes from the Oval, the Belgian Grand Prix and the US Open tennis, not forgetting the Shrubbery Garden party and Allenbrook Summer fete and more birthdays to celebrate.
September: The proms and the Italian Grand Prix, several birthdays and our start of the new season of music.
There will be many visitors and lots of parties so do come along and join us for summer. Sprinkle all this generously with new entertainers, special outings and a multitude of activities and we shall have an exciting time ahead.
